The Suzuki Splash is one of the latest additions to the Suzuki lineup, as it was initially released in 2008, although production designs appeared at the Paris Auto Show in 2006. There are now several versions of the vehicle around the world, with its initial debut arriving in Japan, and now in the UK and in India. The Splash also just went on sale in New Zeland in 2011.

The Suzuki Splash has a small, 1 leter engine (although there is a 1.3L diesel engine) and is a five door hatch back. It is possible to purchase the vehicle in either a five speed manual or four speed automatic, depending on what your prefer. The splash uses petrol (unless you opt for the diesel version) and is able to reach 62 miles per hour in just over 12 seconds. The top speed peaks at 109 miles per hour, which is significant for s vehicle of its size. The mileage for the vehicle is also exceptional, as the average mileage is just over 51 miles per gallon, which is higher than most other vehicles in its class (especially those that are not hybrid vehicles, and for the price, you are going to be saving a considerable amount of money in the next few years.
